Manz Automation AG of Reutlingen, Germany, has initiated an exclusive agreement to license MicroJet technology from Synova SA of Lausanne, Switzerland. The German company will integrate the technology into its advanced manufacturing equipment for photovoltaics applications. It is expected to increase the efficiency of cutting, drilling and edge isolation in the production of mono- and multicrystalline solar cells.
