Illinois Tool Works (ITW) of Glenview, Ill., has acquired Cal Sensors Inc. of Santa Rosa, Calif., to expand its range of highly engineered components, industrial systems, consumable systems and specialty products. The California company, known for its infrared detectors and emitters, will continue to operate independently.
