Jenoptik Laser, Optik, Systeme GmbH has unveiled the VarioCam, a 1.2-megapixel thermography camera. The device offers a standard deviation of ±1.5 K in the temperature range of 0 to 100 °C and has a proprietary function that improves pixel-to-pixel measurement precision and image homogeneity. The device weighs 1.5 kg and is designed for operation with one hand. Applications include scientific and industrial research and development.
