StreamLine technology developed by Renishaw plc produces Raman chemical images in minutes rather than the hours previously required. The system is available as an option with the company’s inVia Raman microscopes. An image of a pharmaceutical tablet measuring 18 × 7 mm can be acquired in 50 min, a rate of 77 ms per spectrum.
