Furukawa America Inc. of Peachtree City, Ga., and 3SAE Technologies Inc. of Franklin, Tenn., have allied to serve the optical equipment manufacturing market in the Americas. Furukawa’s Fitel fusion splicers and equipment comprise the core of 3SAE’s fusion splicer equipment offerings for customers who mass-produce optical systems and components and who have high-volume requirements, including those in the military, government, aerospace, medical, and oil and gas sectors. 3SAE will provide fusion splicer service, equipment customization and specialty splicing support.
