Safety Vision LP, a Houston-based supplier of mobile digital video products, has entered into an agreement with Flir Systems Inc. of Wilsonville, Ore., under which it will promote Flir’s PathFindIR infrared camera. Designed to enable safer night driving, the device provides a longer line of vision than conventional headlight beams, allowing drivers seconds more time to react to roadway hazards. As a result of their alliance, the companies expect to extend their reach into the fire, rescue and emergency medical service sectors as well as into the mining and commercial trucking industries.
