NanoOpto Corp. of Somerset, N.J., and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. of Tokyo have formed a partnership to develop new products. The companies will collaborate on the development of integrated telecommunications components, primarily packaged optical isolators and custom WDM filters. Products from the partnership will be generally available later this year.
