DETECTOR ARRAY

Andor-Technology.jpgIDus, an InGaAs detector array system from Andor Technology, offers USB 2.0 connectivity and a choice of 512- or 1024-element linear photodiode arrays for near-IR spectroscopy from 800 to 2200 nm. Peak quantum efficiency is >80%, with low noise, and thermoelectric cooling to –85 °C optimizes the signal-to-noise ratio. The proprietary UltraVac process improves sensor performance via higher quantum efficiency and lower dark current. Features include a hermetic vacuum seal and a maintenance-free design. Coupled to the company’s Shamrock spectrographs, the system is suitable for spectroscopy applications, including Raman at longer wavelengths, photoluminescence, emission, lidar and online materials identification.
