The device is equipped with the company’s OCT viewer 2.2 software, and the interference pattern is processed with a proprietary customized imaging chip. The light source is an 820-nm superluminescent LED, and it comes with standard objectives of 2.5×, 10× and 40×. Its image acquisition rate is 5000 fps for the sensor and up to five 3-D fps. Applications include inspection of micro-optical components and surface-mount device boards with die and wire bonds.
