CCD IMAGER

Intevac_MOSIR01B.jpgFor low-light spectroscopy and imaging applications between 200 and 1100 nm, Intevac Inc. has introduced the back-illuminated Mosir 350/150 camera. The CCD sensor has 1024 × 256 pixels with 26-μm pitch, 16-bit digitization and a USB 2.0 interface. The proprietary thermoelectrically cooled platform clamps dark charge without liquid nitrogen, and vacuum integrity is maintained throughout the lifetime of the camera. The embedded processor performs image correction functions independent of the host PC and the application software. The camera supports external triggering and provides TTL outputs for timed acquisition and monitoring. Mounts are available for popular spectrometers, in addition to F-mount adapters. The sensor’s cooling range is from 20 to –40 °C, and vertical shift time is 30 μs.
