Announced by Toshiba Teli America Inc., the CSL8000CL is a 12,000-pixel-resolution line-scan camera that digitally outputs both 8-bit color and 8- and 10-bit monochrome images simultaneously. It features a Camera Link interface and a Kodak image sensor with three parallel linear photodiode arrays for outputting the R, G and B signals, and a fourth channel for luminance information. Operating at 80 MHz with line rates of up to 37 Hz, the camera produces 4083-pixel-resolution RGB images and 8160-pixel monochrome. It is packaged in a rugged industrial housing that measures 74 × 74 × 138 mm.
