Continuum has released a system that unites an optical parametric oscillator (OPO) docking platform and an Inlite laser under one control interface. Supporting both Inlite II and Inlite III lasers, the platform can be configured with either a tunable or a fixed-wavelength OPO. Built from an aluminum casting, the system is designed for rugged environments and is resistant to vibration and temperature changes. Laser heads and power supplies are interchangeable, and >50 million shots are guaranteed. Communication is via an RS-232 interface, and the system is supplied with a graphical user interface that runs under Windows.
