Micro Laser Systems Inc.’s Fermion I series turnkey fiber-coupled diode laser systems typically provide 10 to 60 mW of output power that can be adjusted using a knob on the system or an external voltage source. To limit output to a specific wavelength, the company couples a single-mode fiber to the laser, and customers can choose single-mode fibers across the 375- to 1600-nm range. The laser can run in CW or pulsed mode, and the output is spatially filtered. Fiber collimators with an adjustable focus are optional.
