Pepperl+Fuchs has introduced MLV41 series photoelectric sensors, available in versions designed for detection at 350 mm or 3 m away from the sensor. The devices have built-in crosstalk protection and dual-position LEDs that indicate their status and that are visible at a distance of 15 m. Each sensor can provide four transistor output types. Rated to –40 °C, they are housed in a 60 × 14 × 31-mm, IP67-rated metal unit with a special protective top coating.
