Point Grey Research Inc. has added four remote-head models to its line of Dragonfly2 IEEE-1394a digital cameras. The monochrome and color CCD sensor options for the remotehead models include the 0.3-megapixel, 1/3-in. ICX424 (648 × 488 at 60 fps) and the 0.8-megapixel, 1/3-in. ICX204 (1032 × 776 at 30 fps). Each model comes equipped with a smaller and more streamlined cast metal CS-mount lens holder (a C-mount adapter is included) and a general-purpose I/O connector for trigger, strobe and serial I/O.
