The Halcon machine vision software library from MVTec Software GmbH now offers new interfaces. Version 7.1 and beyond interface to uEye Gigabit Ethernet cameras from Imaging Development Systems GmbH, with more than doubled bandwidth and a cable length of up to 100 m. Halcon version 8.0 supports microEnable IV Camera Link frame grabbers from Silicon Software GmbH. The boards provide DDR-RAM from 128 to 512 MB. The TXF and TXD camera series from Baumer Optronic GmbH are supported by the extended Halcon BaumerFCAM and the Halcon 1394IIDC interfaces, respectively.
