The QDI ImageUV imaging system has been released by Craic Technologies Inc. to be employed with its QDI 2010 microspectrophotometer and its UV/VIS/NIR microscopes. Users can acquire images and spectra in transmittance, reflectance, polarization and fluorescence, from the deep-UV to the visible to the near-IR regions of micron-scale samples, all with one software package. The system combines hardware and software to enable users to control from several digital imaging systems, each optimized for its spectral region. They also can analyze individual broadband and narrowband wavelength regions. Applications include contamination analysis in the UV and inspection of interior circuitry of bonded wafer devices in the near-IR. The software offers numerous sophisticated image-analysis algorithms.
