Safibra has unveiled the OFLS-B series, broadband optical light sources that are equipped with superluminescent LEDs. Customers can choose SLEDs with wavelengths within the range of 750 to 1600 nm and powers up to 25 mW in single-mode fibers, and with FWHM from 20 to 120 nm, typically. Available with and without thermoelectric cooling, the light sources provide coherence lengths as short as <20 μm and spectral modulation typically as low as 0.1 dB.
