SensL has developed an entry-level lecture and laboratory training program for academics and OEMs. The PCEdu-1 Photon Counting Fundamentals Educator Pack contains tools and documentation that take the user from the basic theory of photon counting and photodetection to application examples. Lecture topics are basic semiconductor device physics, photodiode operation and characterization, noise in photodiodes, photon counting and quenching fundamentals. Five interactive laboratory sessions are included, as are the hardware and software needed to perform photon-counting experiments.
