    • Omniprobe Inc. of Dallas, a supplier of nanoscale failure analysis and process control solutions for nano-scale analysis, has acquired the assets of Ascend Instruments LLC of Beaverton, Ore., a provider of hardware and software for sample preparation and manipulation in the focused ion beam microscope. Ascend’s product line will be manufactured at the Texas facility.
