DRS Technologies Inc. of Parsippany, N.J., has received a $26 million contract, with the option of an additional $23 million, to produce, integrate, test and deliver thermal imagers for the MK 15 Phalanx close-in weapon system. The Phalanx is deployed on US Navy combat ships. The contract was awarded by the Missile Systems business of Raytheon Co. in Louisville, Ky.
