Alfalight Inc.’s AMx-808BW line of 808-nm wavelength-stabilized single-emitter laser diodes are available in 2.5-W chip-on-carrier and 2-W fiber-coupled packages. They feature peak power conversion efficiency of 52%, a 30 °C wavelength locking range from 0.2 to 2.5 W, ±1.5-nm center-wavelength tolerance, and 87% higher pump absorption in Nd:YAG and Nd:YVO₄ microlasers. Designed to be packaged and handled like traditional pump diodes, the devices require no external components. They have a wide uncooled operating range appropriate for most solid-state configurations.
