Employing proprietary PowerLine E series diode-pumped solid-state lasers, the desktop LabelMarker Compact introduced by Rofin-Sinar Laser GmbH achieves fast marking speeds on virtually all conventional label materials. The control unit operates via touch screen, and the VisualLaserMaker software comprises all marking contents, from alphanumeric, dxf and bmp graphics, to bar codes and 2-D matrix codes. The system operates from a 230-/120-V supply, and a TCP/IP interface is available for connection to external devices. The CombiLine E moves the laser head and the deflection unit via travel axes in the X-Y-Z directions over a range of 300 mm each. The worktable carries workpieces of up to 100 kg.
