CVI Laser LLC of Albuquerque, N.M., has completed its purchase of Carlsbad, Calif.-based Melles Griot from Barloworld Scientific Ltd. of Sandton, South Africa. The company will operate under a unified management team and will be organized around CVI Laser’s optics and photonic products and lasers business units.
