NEAR-IR CMOS CAMERA
Intevac Inc. has introduced a back-thinned CMOS camera for low-light near-IR imaging applications. The MicroVista-NIR has proprietary antireflection coatings, a 100% fill factor and a Camera Link interface. The 1280 × 1024-pixel focal plane array is made up of 10.8-μm square pixels. System read noise is 30 e
– rms, and exposure time rate is from 20 μs to 10 s. The camera operates at 30 fps with 1280 × 1024-pixel resolution, at 150 fps with resolution of 512 × 512 pixels and at 2400 fps at 128 × 128. It has a rolling shutter and a C-mount optical lens mount. Nonlinearity is <2%, and power consumption is 2 W at 12 VDC. Operating temperature is from 0 to 50 °C.
