CeramOptec Industries Inc. provides drop-in replacement silica fiber bundles and assemblies for spectrometer systems that work in the UV, VIS or IR. The company supplies high-numerical-aperture products for light-limited applications and fibers that work at temperatures ranging from 380 to
–190 °C. The company uses a patented plasma chemical vapor deposition process to fabricate specialty fibers with high radiation resistance levels and a broad range of profiles and dopants, and with numerical apertures from 0.06 to 0.66. The fibers are drawn in-house before they are integrated into fiber optic bundles and assemblies. The products are available off the shelf or in customized versions.
