Released by PhaseView, MicroPhase is a video CCD camera that fits on any microscope via a standard C-mount, turning the microscope into a 3-D metrology system. No additional optics or accessories are required. Based on proprietary and patented digital phase technology, the camera acquires and processes images in <10 s. At various magnifications and with various microscope objectives, working distance ranges from 1 to 23.5 mm, numerical aperture from 0.15 to 0.90, maximum slope from 8° to 42°, and axial range from 35 to 0.8 μm. The camera measures 72 × 120 × 180 mm and weighs 1.5 kg. It connects to a computer via USB 2.0.
