Photonic Products UK Ltd. has launched the 300-0331-00, a diode-pumped solid-state green laser diode that offers a circular output beam of ∼2.7 mm in diameter, a 5-m working distance and a 532-nm lasing wavelength. Integrated thermoelectric cooling maintains a stable operating temperature. Optical output power is 5 mW, typical operating voltage is 3 VDC, maximum operating current is 400 mA, and operating temperature is from –10 to 50 °C. Typical beam size is 2.4 mm, and typical beam divergence is 0.3 mrad. The laser has a TEM₀₀ beam with M² of 1.2 maximum and is supplied in an anodized aluminum housing.
