The V100 series cameras announced by NaturalPoint Inc. produce real-time 3-D data for motion capture and tracking applications. The Flex:V100 offers adjustable resolution of 640 × 480, 320 × 240 or 160 × 120, and an adjustable frame rate of 100, 50 or 25 Hz. It has a USB 2.0 interface, an electronic global shutter, an operating range of 30 cm to 10 m, depending upon marker size, and latency of 10 ms. The camera features built-in strobed IR illumination and onboard image processing. Up to 12 USB cameras can be synchronized and run from a single laptop.
