BLUE LEDS
Cree Inc. has launched blue XLamp XR-E LEDs that are 70% brighter than its previous blue LEDs and that produce maximum luminous flux of 42 lm at 350 mA. The RoHS-compliant devices have an electrically neutral thermal path and a reflow-solderable design that is optimized for ease of use and thermal management. Typical thermal resistance from junction to solder point is 8 °C/W, temperature coefficient of voltage is –4 mV/°C, and viewing angle is 90° FWHM. Maximum DC forward current is 700 mA, and maximum reverse voltage is 5 V.
