AutonoSys Inc.’s LVC-0702 lidar video camera reaches a maximum measurement rate of 500,000 points per second at resolutions of up to 288 lines × 960 pixels. Designed for obstacle and terrain sensing of autonomous vehicles, for digitization of scenes for computer animation and for improved threat recognition in security monitoring systems, the standard model operates in 10-Hz, 5-Hz and high-resolution modes. All have reconfigurable software, with frame rate, field of view and resolution programmable for specific requirements. At a maximum range of 53.5 m with 16-bit resolution, the unit features accuracy of ≤5 mm and a 45° × 90° field of view.
