Vertilon Corp. has upgraded its PhotoniQ software for high-speed imaging applications. Version 2.1 is compatible with existing PhotoniQ multichannel photomultiplier tube data acquisition systems and adds several new operating modes. The data acquisition mode for rapid, continuous data collection acquires and stores very large multichannel images in its image buffer in a few seconds. Trigger counting and automatic pixel indexing are included. The updates make the program suitable for fluorescence confocal microscopy.
