A portable USB high-resolution timing system has been released by SensL. The HRMTime module offers up to four timing channels with 27-ps minimum time bin size and 66-ps timing resolution that can be transported to interface to any host PC via a USB cable. It is available in one, two or four channels. The device offers time binning, time tagging (micro and macro), multichannel averager/scaler, multidimensional time-correlated single-photon counting and auto-/cross-correlation functionality. Applications include fluorescence lifetime imaging, single-molecule detection and optical diffusion tomography.
