McPherson Inc. has launched customer-specified optomechanical components and standard beam delivery accessories for ultraviolet applications requiring clean, inert purge, vacuum and ultrahigh-vacuum environments. Contaminant-free and helium-leak-checked, components include simplified grating actuators, mirror mounts, optical choppers and polarizer mounts. They are available with O-ring-sealed construction for purge applications and vacuum applications in the 10^–6 torr range. Ultrahigh-vacuum versions are available for compatibility in the 10^–10 torr range.
