Laser Energetics Inc. of Princeton, N.J., has been awarded a contract worth $481,268 from ITT Corp. of White Plains, N.Y. The agreement will fund the demonstration of an all-solid-state frequency-tripled Alexandrite laser using proprietary BrightStar technology, in support of the US Army’s initiative to develop a remote sensor for chemical warfare agents.
