FTIR SPECTROMETER

Offering full research capabilities as well as vacuum operation, the Vertex 70v Fourier transform IR (FTIR) spectrometer has been released by
Bruker Optics Inc. As with other Bruker spectrometers, its data acquisition is based on dual-channel 24-bit analog-to-digital converters integrated within the detector to yield a high signal-to-noise ratio. The proprietary RockSolid interferometer provides long-term stability and the vacuum configuration, protection from the interference of atmospheric gases. The device offers sensitivity for applications such as time-resolved studies and spectroscopic analysis of weakly absorbing samples. It features optional capabilities, including automated source and detector selection, and software control of two external input and up to five exit beam ports. It accepts the company’s external accessories and features a spectral range extension from the terahertz to the visible as well as a plug-and-play Ethernet connection.
