For spectroscopy, plasma studies, astronomy, atmospheric research, oil and gas exploration, telecommunications and defense applications, Barr Associates Inc. is offering custom bandpass filters in the near-IR in a variety of bandwidths, with out-of-band blocking suited for the responsivity range of common infrared detectors, including Si photodiode, InGaAs, InAs, PbS, InSb, PbSe and MCT. Filters can be fabricated in a variety of shapes and sizes and are offered as unmounted or able to be mounted into holders to match application requirements. They can be designed for normal and nonnormal incident angles. Transmission is from 60% to 90%, depending upon the center wavelength, the bandwidth and the blocking.
