Intense Ltd. has announced the Power Pack 630, a high-power fiber-coupled laser module that delivers up to 2.5 W at 630 nm from a 600-μm fiber with a numerical aperture of 0.22. Its turnkey system architecture combines a forced-air heat sink and a cooling fan, a monitor photodiode, a thermoelectric cooler and a thermistor. It is configured as a stand-alone module that interfaces easily with commercial laser current drivers and integrates smoothly into OEM systems. Each module includes an internal visible aiming beam for verifying alignment of laser output to the target. A 15-pin D connector integrates input/output signals.
