Sick Inc. has unveiled its Inspector, a vision sensor that can verify completeness and quality and inspect for defects, no matter which angle or orientation a product comes down the line and even if products vary in size by as much as 20%. The system provides simple pass/fail output, produces 384 × 384-pixel resolution and is packaged in an IP 67 metal housing for use in harsh environments. An integrated dome light produces high-quality images, even on glossy and reflective surfaces.
