IVA Corp. has launched a 2-megapixel CMOS digital camera with an Arctic 314 variable-focus liquid lens from Varioptic SA that enables close-up to infinity focus control. The IVIN2M-ETH imager delivers 1600 × 1200-pixel resolution and has a progressive-scan sensor with an electronic rolling shutter. Available in color or monochrome, the camera connects to a host computer via a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet interface. Manual or automatic gain, exposure and white balance can be programmed to optimize the imager analog output to the input range of the 10-bit A/D converter.
