Four fixed-focal-length imaging optics designed for short-wavelength infrared cameras and applications have been introduced by Navitar Inc. Focal lengths include two 25-mm designs, a 35- and a 50-mm version. They are supplied with thumbscrews for locking the focus and iris functions. They cover 16-mm-diagonal sensors, offer high-resolution images and provide transmission of 75% or better from 700 to 1900 nm. Applications include perimeter surveillance, food sorting, border and port security, quality control and aerial imaging.
