FiberTech Joins Leoni

Leoni Fiber Optics, a subsidiary of the Leoni Group of Nuremberg, Germany, has purchased 90.2 percent of FiberTech GmbH of Berlin. The former says that the acquisition will increase its portfolio of specialty fibers, as FiberTech is a producer of quartz/quartz multimode fibers and customized fiber optic cables for laser beam delivery systems.
