FEI Co. of Hillsboro, Ore., has opened a NanoPort in Shanghai, China. The new facility joins three that are already in operation in North America, Europe and Japan. NanoPorts are centers of technical and applications excellence where the company’s customers and partners can collaborate with its specialists on the development of new ideas and innovative solutions for advancing nanoscale technology. Shanghai was chosen because of global recognition of China as a vibrant and growing technology center.
