Optometrics Corp. is offering both long- and short-pass optical filters that are ring-mounted and that are scribed and sealed for moisture protection. Applications for the Edge Filters include Raman spectroscopy, astronomy and order sorting. The short-pass filters are available in 50-nm increments from 450 to 1000. The long-pass filters also are available in 50-nm increments, from 500 to 1500. They have a borofloat substrate and an operating temperature of –20 to 75 °C.
