Horiba Jobin Yvon Inc. has introduced an option for rapid Raman imaging with the LabRam HR and Aramis. The DuoScan scanning hardware permits image pixel size to be chosen to match features of interest, enabling optimized mapping speeds. Unlike other Raman methods, DuoScan retains the full confocal advantage of the Raman technique without restriction on laser wavelength. It offers fast and uniform scanning over large sample areas and covers the spectral range from the UV to the IR.
