XenICs has extended the wavelength area of its XMID InSb-based detector cameras to the midwave infrared. The broadband versions now cover an extended area from 1 to 5 μm. The extensions are available in models XMID-FPA-5.0-320 and -640. The cameras offer a standard resolution of 320 × 256 pixels at a pixel pitch of 30 μm, or a high resolution of 640 × 512 pixels at a pixel pitch of 20 μm. The pixel operability level is better than 99.5%.
