Intevac Inc. of Santa Clara, Calif., has signed an agreement to acquire Creative Display Systems LLC of Carlsbad, Calif., a manufacturer of microdisplay products for near-eye and portable applications in the defense and commercial markets. The technology will complement Intevac’s night vision products and miniature Raman instruments, and it will enhance business in key military and commercial markets.
