QuantomiX of Rehovot, Israel, developer of a capsule technology that enables direct imaging of wet samples in scanning electron microscopes, has been purchased by El-Mul Technologies Ltd. of Yavne, Israel. The latter, a manufacturer of particle detection and field emission components used in nanotechnology instruments, says that the acquisition will lead to applications of the technology that would not have been possible before the merger.
