Alacron Inc. has announced the Fast Frame-XB Express Card that provides frame grabber capabilities for notebooks. Available in analog, digital and Camera Link configurations, it uses the latest field-programmable gate array and PCIe interface technology and can be supplied in two form factors. The 34-mm low-power version provides basic or medium Camera Link, analog or digital LVDS inputs and has an onboard memory/FPGA subsystem to enable storage and image processing functions in real time. The 54-mm low-power model provides up to full Camera Link as well as multiple analog and digital input options. It has the same memory/FPGA subsystem.
