Eutecus Inc. has released its InstantVision ISE 3.1 image processing software suite that runs at high speeds on embedded vision systems. The new version reflects improvements in the two main libraries. The Multitarget Tracking library’s tracking algorithm has improved accuracy, and the Software and Image Flow Processing library now includes a second foreground/background separation algorithm. This version fully supports C-MVA 1.1, a proprietary cellular multicore video analytics processor technology, by which the most computationally demanding image preprocessing tasks are executed by the C-MVA processor embedded in the field-programmable gate array, leaving the digital signal processor to focus on event detection and image encoding.
